JPMorgan Chase & Co., New York, USA informed us pursuant to sec. 21
para. 1 of the WpHG that on 11th of August 2008 the voting rights of
JPMorgan Cahase & Co. in Demag Cranes AG, Düsseldorf, Germany
exceeded the threshold of 5 percent and amounted to 5.04 percent
(1,067,339 shares) in relation to all shares of the respective voting
shares on this day.
Thereof, 0.06 % (11,832 voting rights) are attributed pursuant to
section 22 para 1 sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG. Further 4.99 % (1,055,507
shares) are attributed pursuant to section 22 para 1 sentence 1 no. 6
in connection with sentence 2 WpHG.
